L-R Nick Collinson, Martin Brown and Graham PrinceRenowned fleet management specialists Fleet Alliance has secured a 51% stake in award winning Uckfield based leasing company, Neva Consultants. A new Fleet Alliance Group will be created by the deal, which will be overseen by Neva directors Graham Prince and Nick Collinson, who will continue to be responsible for the daily running and operations at Neva, in partnership with the managing director of Fleet Alliance, Martin Brown.

Neva Consultants will become part of the enlarged Fleet Alliance Group, while continuing to trade under the Neva Consultants brand. The deal places the company at No. 14 in a national league table of the country’s top contract hire and leasing businesses. Following the deal Neva’s fleet size will exceed 25,000 vehicles.

Neva Director Graham Prince said of the move ‘’We are delighted to be part of the new enlarged Fleet Alliance Group and look forward to working closely with our new colleagues, backed by the greater resources that they can offer.”

“This is not an entirely new departure for us as we have known the team at Fleet Alliance for a number of years, and we know that we are joining an excellent and professionally run operation that is held in high regard throughout the UK fleet industry.”

Co-director Nick Collinson added: “This is an exciting opportunity for both businesses to expand and develop in their chosen marketplaces and share more fully the wealth of expertise within both organisations.”

Fleet Alliance is currently in the midst of a five year successive record for profitability, fleet size and revenue, and has seen significant growth during this period for direct business, corporate sales and personal leasing.

Fleet Alliance director Martin Brown said “We have known and worked with Neva for the last ten years or more and, indeed, share the same IT platform and back office systems. In that time, we have come to recognise them as a thoroughly professional, well-run business with a culture very similar to our own. In short, they made the perfect fit for us.”

Neva Consultants have also seen a period of growth over the last three years, adding Neva Direct to the company’s portfolio in order to expand its offering in the personal leasing sector.

As well as growing its offering, the team at Neva Consultants have been recognised for excellence in leasing in a number of trade and local business awards during recent years. As well as notable successes at the British Chamber of Commerce Awards and the High Potential Business Awards, the team were also recognised for providing notable customers service and Best Company at the Leasing and Broker Federation Awards last December.

In addition to this, Fleet Alliance was named by industry experts as providing the best service to customers during 2016 in the Experteye awards. The accolade was bestowed upon the company for the second year running, cementing Fleet Alliance as one of the UK’s leading vehicle and fleet management companies.

The mutual success of Fleet Alliance and Neva Consultants over recent years, combined with a strong commitment from both parties to providing a superior customer experience and the very best in fleet management services made the collaboration a natural fit for Graham Prince.

He continued “The commitment Neva have shown over the last 25 years towards delivering first class customer service is replicated within the ethos at Fleet Alliance and ensures that this focus will be at the forefront of the group strategy.’’
